i go with allen TH and a draft pick (desmond ridder )
That has me liking Heinicke even more nowHe can and should like whoever he likes, but I hope he stays out of the headlines, as he has been active in his support: Fans Rip WFT QB Taylor Heinicke After Finding Out He’s a Trump Supporter
Or at least be prepared to defend it intelligently so the organization doesn’t have even more PR issues. Keep it out of work but express it how he desires privately (though in public). I think he can go about it smartly.
and who likes that moron Biden
Democrats are already trying to violate peoples 1st amendment rights time to take a stand against them before they do moreIt isn’t about who he likes. I’m just talking about being in the public eye. Social media and politics need to be done smartly for the starting quarterback. It’s unfortunate that being vocal on one side is criticized and the other is praised, but I just don’t want things to go the wrong way. I’m not talking about his stances; it’s engaging the mass public when his situation may change into the face of the franchise. I’m not saying shut up and play football, just be smart about it. You would know how the world is turned against that side.
I wanna understand this too! Is it somehow written into the guarantee of his contract... which we all know was awful for us at the time. Can someone please explain to me why Alex still gets paid next year if he decides to retire? He is the one cancelling the contract, not the team.
Retiring player's contracts are treated in the same manner as those in which a player is released/cut. As an example, Dwayne Haskins is owed $4.266 million over the next two seasons. He'll make that money either way, regardless of if he's signed by another team. Can someone please explain to me why Alex still gets paid next year if he decides to retire? Well fuck. If we have to pay him, we might as well have him on the team. He has proven to be quite effective at helping young QBs develop. He will be basically the most expensive coach in the NFL.Retiring player's contracts are treated in the same manner as those in which a player is released/cut. If we are paying either way, can’t see why we don’t just keep him as QB developer in the QB room. Play him when he’s as near healthy as possible, use the QB room as a bull pen, lolRetiring player's contracts are treated in the same manner as those in which a player is released/cut. That Ridder kid is going to be good.i go with allen TH and a draft pick (desmond ridder )
I strongly believe that Smith is going to retire. Then the question becomes does he want to return as a coach. Now if he wants to return as a player that's going to be problematic as a practical matter because he'll then become the highest paid backup in the league and likely prompting the team to cut/release him rather than having him on the bench at that cost.Well fuck.
