I see he wanted a deal in the area of Harrison Smith.

I think this is might be a hard contract to do... Berry probably deserves as much as Smith (Smith shouldn't be the highest paid S in the NFL, he is good, but not a top 5 S).... I think the Vikings really hurt KC with that contract and then with the health issue the Chiefs aren't real comfortable giving him that much which I can fully understand. You never know when something is gonna come back or what kind of impact it may have long term.
