So I was checking out some PBS one night and some show came up called Tommy Tang's Easy Thai Cooking. Not bad....There really are a plethora of shows out there.

That's awesome. My wife and I have talked about if we ever get the time off work and the money we'd love to just travel around the country and eat at some of the restaurants like that. Eat good food and meet interesting people, winner winner chicken dinner.

I went on vacation in San Diego specifically to eat at Hodad's

FYI if you go to San Diego and you don't eat at Hodad's just stop and repeatedly punch yourself in the face.

I will watch this as well. I like the explanation he presents about each process, ingredients, and history.





My wife watches something else on the internet that is heavy into science involved with cooking. I can never remember what it is called though. I don't think it's widely watched.

Yeah, we want to do the same thing. I actually took a route that was 2 hours longer just so I could eat at some of these places. It was well worth it.

Iron Chef America and Chopped are 2 of my favorites also.

On chopped I like to try and come up with what I would make, plus they always have something on there I've never heard of and always explain what it is.

The only cooking shows worth a damn on Food Network are Diners, Drive Ins & Dives & Guy Fieri's show.

The on air talent on that network has dropped so low it's not worth watching anymore. Giada CAN'T cook.

Note to these so called experts. If meat is red in the middle it isn't cooked it's too rare or raw.
