NFL has gone too far with rules against the defense…

Did it just become mediocre this year? Or was it mediocre last year when they both led their teams to 8-9 records?

But the defenses are making the offenses look mediocre...
Overall no, offensive production has been up since the rules against the defense were implemented years ago, they’ve just pushed some of those rules a little too far

The commentary is a bit over the top, but one thing Brady had was the great intangible, leadership. Few remember his early years, Gumby was the nickname, because they would twist him in so many ways. He would get up and keep on playing. Only long injury was once. Smart player. He rallied the defense and took naps on the bench in the hardest times. A great leader of team, not only offense.

So...what great teams were the Pats beating to win those Superbowls? The Colts with no D? Who else??? He is the best there ever was, but there is no need for him to decide that the competition suddenly sucks, because it's still a competition and you can only play who is on your schedule and if you get invited to the dance party, they you dance with the next partner up.

Also, the Manning vs Brady showdowns. Good stuff.
