Not dissing the Tigers but I feel they're overrated as a "serious" contender......

Of course watch them blow us in the ALDS...lol

Any hoot good luck... our bats(yankees) got us here cause pitching didnt, so we need the bats this postseason.

Some observations about the Tigers if you're interested:


Pros:

-Verlander and Fister are our best starting pitchers.
-Our late relief pitching is very good.
-We have a dangerous, dangerous offense. You need to worry about Cabrera, but you also need to worry just as much about the guy who bats after him - Victor Martinez. The man is deadly with men in scoring position. Behind "V-Mart" comes Peralta and Avila...both of whom have hit .300 almost all year long.
-We're a pretty good comeback team.

Cons:

-Our fielding, except for Jackson in CF and Avila at C, is terrible.
-Our pitchers, except for two or three, are terrible at keeping baserunners from getting good jumps.

 

[Bone]

Pros are pretty obvious for the Yanks so need not mention.

Con: Every starting pitcher not named Sabathia or Nova.
