Cam should be transitioning more into a pocket passer as he gets older. They have to develop DJ Moore, Curtis Samuel and McCaffrey into an offense that is passing all of the time. Spread everyone out and then use Cam's arms and legs to take advantage of the wide open spaces.Agree 100%...since DEN smacked him around in that SB game...the blueprint has been pretty clear.
When you get the opportunity to hit him...make it count. I've long felt Shula's OFC was very limited and maybe Cam's skillset made it that way. I was a little surprised they got as much production from McCaffery as they did, but it was either him or Funchess, not much in between.
I'm not sure they have a single above average offensive line player, though. They let their only good one go in the offseason last year. Not sure if you can consistently win in the NFL with a routinely below average oline and young skill players.
