I was not a huge fan of the Hockenson trade, but Lions got more for him than the Raiders got for Waller. I think I was way off on TE value.

Its going to be interesting to see what he does with a real coach. Assuming he can stay healthy.

Very few TE's generate much any value. With that being said Waller is a good guy to bet on a bounceback from. Good move for the Giants as they rebuild their passcatchers.

I wonder if they mentioned this to Garafalo before signing him?

I know FR is supposed to mean 'For Real' but 'FR' could also mean f#* Raiders which is how Im reading it

It’s typically written as “FTR.” You can see it often on the Broncos subreddit.

Damn! He immediately becomes the 2nd best TE in the division. Roseman better sign CJGJ ASAP.

This is a great move for the Giants. Jones needs a reliable target

He's missed a lot of games the last 2 years. If he stays healthy it's a solid move but if not......

Giants acquired TE Darren Waller from the Raiders in exchange for the 100th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

After laying low on the first day of free agency, the Giant came through with a splash on Day 2 when they acquired Waller from the Raiders in exchange for the 100th overall pick, which was acquired from the Chiefs in the Kadarius Toney trade. Waller burst on the scene with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in 2019 and 2020 but has totaled just 83-1053-5 in 20 games over the last two seasons. Waller is one of the best receiving tight ends in the league when healthy, but staying on the field has proved challenging for the soon-to-be 31-year-old tight end. Still, Waller would have been the best pass-catching option on the Giants last season and is an immediate upgrade for the offense
