No doubt there - if we want to have any chance of winning this game we absolutely need to spend more time in their zone and get some traffic in front of him. Playing in our zone and shooting from the outside on Miller is going to a notch in the loss column..

sharks have lost their composure here and stopped working. Gotta step it up, cuz losing this one would be disappointing particularly after beating the wings and flyboys.

I disagree. 30 minutes played so far and pretty much nothing of substance from the Sharks. Typical Sharks game in Buffalo, I don't know why they always play like this there.


Halfway through the game and the Sharks haven't even been able to draw a penalty (DoG doesn't count). That's how lifeless they've been.

sharks' problem is that they have 1 or 2 offensive threats out of 6 from the blueline and 2 of their top 4 salary forwards are completely useless or worse. Pavs is a non-fact now (the nice goal yesterday notwithstanding) and patty has been even worse. With his -1 today, patty is now T-5th for the worst +/- in the entire league (3rd worst forward behind just Kovy and dominic moore). Impressive!
