Good ol' Smith. The guy has been out of position all night long, and was a contributor to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th goals. On the 4th one he was wandering somewhere out by the blue line, and got back too late to cover the shooter in front of Howard. Why is he still in a Wings jersey?

As long as you aren't going to put bodies on a team with the quickness that the Canes have, they're going to skate circles around you all night long. We saw it tonight and we saw it last Saturday night, but we learned absolutely nothing from it.

The thing that I was most amazed by was that after the 4th Canes goal, the 3rd one in a row that he was mostly responsible for, Blash played him more than any of the other dmen for the remainder of the game. Wait until he reviews the films of the game; he'll ask himself, why he did that.
