I didn't think it was possible but Mota is making me miss Bob Howry lately.

Oh well. You knew this game was going to be the toughest of the series, going against Carpenter. And I do think Timmy's performance was a positive. I don't care what his line was, he didn't seem to be worrying about his mechanics, pretty good location most of the night, was hitting 94 w/his fastball, good sharp curve. And if the Giants are going to lose it's nice to do it on a day that the Phillies and Padres are too. Just hoping the Brewers can hang on. 6-5 now at the end of 8.
