A lot has been said about Guillen's arm being tops in the league, but honestly in his chances, it hasn't been great at all and he is not very accurate.

I am all for Cody Ross starting over Guillen.

I think ElJimador posted the definitive science about Guillen. Totally lousy pickup, whose offense everywhere he goes has been overrated (gets RBIs, but the team he's on scores LESS overall with him). Add in bad defense and bad attitude, and a bad pickup which I and many others begged not to happen.

One big pro-Guillen guy: Livindisup. Do with that what you will.

Have to add this to the Bad Sabean list.

+1...every single other move (including DeRosa and Molina) Sabes made this year I was OK with. Not that one. Love Ross though.

Him coming off the bench makes more sense than Ross off the bench in my opinion. But the fact that the Giants guarenteed him 4-5 starts a week adds insult to injury because if he doesn't play, he'll probably bitch and moan like the old Giants board.

At the point where Guillen requested that many starts should have been a red flag for Sabean, since he overlooked the fact that he is slow, injured and a terrible defender with a good arm.
