7 shut out innings!

From a dumpster dive that no one wanted!

Huff... circa 2010 at least 4.WAR
Casilla 2.8 WAR
Uribe 4.7 WAR
Blanco 1.9 WAR
Torres 7.5 WAR
Vogelsong 4.4 WAR

Whats 1 WAR worth, 5 million? For all the money the FO gives away on bad deals, they save an equal amount on these scrap heap specials.

Nice work. Rep.

Didn't that hit the ground?

Getting shutout yesterday is starting to feel like a distant memory.

I'm not hating on the Panda here, but say he has another great year, would you entertain trading him for the right offer?

It would have to blow me away, but if we were getting damn good value in return, then I'd consider it.

Bondsian cove shot.

Nailed it...

That dude is the epitome of an average 1B. He doesn't do anything particularly well, but he has some pop, and with that line up, they can live with it. Come to think of it.... I'd be thrilled if Belt were preforming at a similar level =/

There have already been grumblings the he is not considered part of the core of the team. However, with his marketing potential, I have a hard time seeing him going anywhere.

Too hypothetical. Right offer? Trout for Panda - sure I'd do it.

OT: Waaaaay too early but why not...Youkilis to the Giants?

I don't see the Giants having the assets to make the deal. But...put him at 1st base, and the lineup would be pretty damn impressive.

This is just shooting shit, obviously, but say a team like the Angels, who are 'all in' these next couple years, and need a 3B, came a calling. Trumbo, Garret Richards, and Jean Segura. Personally, I'd probably make that deal.... Granted, with Sandovals team friendly contract, I might want more of a lopsided deal in our favor.
