I would've rooted for Dusty. I'm sure Dusty will root for us now.

Agreed, Reds were my favorite after us this year.

Now I guess we root for the Cards to get home field?

Tough call there. Cards are a hot team with a scary offense. I think we actually match up with the Nats better. Their lineup is a lot more pitchable.

Should we root for St. Louis or The Nats?

Gotta like the home field if the Cards win the series, but for some reason I fear them more than Washington.

Edit: LOL, you guys beat me to it.

Man you are as Debbie Downer as it gets...

:smow:

Not down at all and I have no problem with teammates who don't 'love' each other - just really looked obvious as I watched it but I didn't tape it and wanted to see if anyone else noticed - Buster is one serious dude!

Why do we want to surrender the road team advantage?

True. Let's play the Nats and come back to San Francisco happy about a 5-0 East Coast road trip!

I had to go look them all up :

1997, Dusty loses in the NLDS (Giants)
2000, Dusty loses in the NLDS (Giants)
2002, Dusty loses in the WS (Giants)
2003, Dusty loses in the NLCS (Cubs)
2010, Dusty loses in the NLDS (Reds)
2012, Dusty loses in the NLDS (Reds)

He's led some damn talented teams over the past 16 years, and no ring to show for it.

Probably just me and my hate for STL, but If I were ya'll, I'd much rather play the Nats. Playoff inexperienced, bats aren't as scary as the Ratbirds, and without mid summer Strasburg, their rotation isn't as tough as it was earlier this year. Oh, and your pitchers will strike out Bryce Harper 4 times a game

But the Nats have schooled us all year. I fear them.

I saw it, and I don't think he looked away on purpose. Too much stimuli around him. Timmy seemed to take it in stride, too. Obviously, they aren't best buds, but that failed fist bump doesn't devolve them past tolerated acquaintances.

^^^^^ When TBS showed this lady, I knew we had a chance. This guy sums up my thoughts on it, nicely.

Either tzill's heart stopped or he decided to just go horseback riding...

Beach club with four nieces under the age of 7...I had to catch game updates on the ESPN ticker (no TBS here). When I left, it was a 6-3....

Yeah, now that I think about it, it's interesting that Boch opted for Nady's bat over Blanco's defense when we are leading late in the game.

On radio postgame Bochy said he wouldn't have done it in our park with our big LF but Cinci is a small park, took a chance.

The heck of it is I'd rather have Blanco batting than Nady these days anyway. But you had to double switch someone.
