This is one of those crappy teams we seem to revert back to our losing ways with this year. I hope they turn over a new leaf tonight and kick some ancient preds ass!

I nearly always make up my mind on the prediction before I even log in and my gut told me Gagner today. Must be an omen.

Let it be Gagner.

The offense was just tic-tac-toe good in this one from nearly start to finish. That had to put a serious dent in the save percentage of one Pekka Rinne...lol Our shots were low because we honestly didn't need anymore.

From memory, this is the first time we've scored six goals all season long. I've been anxiously awaiting it and it's really nice to finally see the payoff for a change.

Don't light a match near Simmonds or he may just burst into flames. The guy is scorching hot. I hope he scores 30+ for the first time after it has looked like he had zero shot. Now he is actually right on pace.

Huge boost to have G really snipe a couple of them and Read to get the party started. Nobody was going to predict that. We had a relatively quick answer after two of their three goals and the result was never truly in doubt.

There was definitely a serious lull on the power play to open the second period and we paid for it by failing to score and then giving one up immediately, but we stuck with it and regrouped. I definitely think this should've been more of a rout than it was, but we essentially took our foot off the gas a couple times.

It is also worth noting that Mase absolutely made a few critical saves that may have kept this game from being 6-5 or 7-6 in OT.

first thing I thought when they potted the 6th too! JJ said it was actually the first time they've scored 5 in regulation as well.

definitely an eyebrow raising kind of night from the Flyers.

Give them credit, they have come out after the break and haven't taken their foot off the gas - they need to keep it up this weekend

Preds have been sucky lately though, don't know what is up with that team - they have the pieces for the most part but they're giving up a lot of goals

And they turned a small corner with this contest by not playing down to the competition. I love it when G and Simmonds start putting the puck in the net. This team has the potential to just stand on the throttle and not let up. Next up, crappy New York Rangers who I hope they kick the crap out of just for general purposes.
