Wish I could disagree but can't, Kings played there game to an extent, dominated OT and still lost. Should've known when SJ scored on a whiffed shot that it wasn't meant to be.

Yes.. you can argue a team makes it's own breaks, but the puck simply bounced SJ's way tonight. A partially fanned on opening goal.. Regher running his own keeper on another and then Voynov tipping one past his own keeper.

As I mentioned earlier, just not the Kings year.

They got the majority of bounces, I wont comment on the calls, and topped it with a nice flukey first and last goal and that's that. Barring a miracle it's over, I'll hope for the best though.

This game was how I expected the series to be played out. Tight, close, overtime games. Unfortunately LA put themselves in a position to where they can't lose these games with the Games 1 & 2 blowouts. Sucks that they lost.

Credit to SJ, they did what we couldn't, win on the road.

From my seat the Kings got out-hustled and out-worked. It was pretty obvious to me they were hungrier and played more desperate. The Kings on the other hand looked like they thought they had the 2-0 series lead. I don't see it going more than 5 games and unless San Jose just wants to win the series in front of their home crowd it'll be over Thursday night. Sad way to end an otherwise good season.

This team (are you listening Lombardi) has a real problem on the blue line. The defense looks old and slow. They can't hold anybody up through the neutral zone and teams enter the Kings zone with ease as the D just backs off and cannot or will not try to challenge anyone at the blue line. Whereas every Kings entry to the Sharks zone was challenged and they had to resort to the dump and chase.

Something has been wrong since that hit he took in the Chicago series. He has been a shell of his former self, sad because I agree, he is one of my favorites when on top of his game.

they were split up because Richards wasn't doing anything even with Carter at his side.

Hate to say it but I think the season ends tonight, Game 5 at the latest. The Kings simply were shell shocked in Games 1-2 and couldn't recover.

I think had they not gotten blown out they have a chance, but the first game really set the tone for the series and it was downhill from there. SJ simply wants it more and it playing like it.

Defense needs to be retooled stat. The Kings need two, mid 20s if possible, SAH defenders - one lefty and one righty. Mitchell and Greene are gone and should be, they have passed their effectiveness.

I honestly hope they get swept. I like what Dumbo has done overall with the team, but the last little while he has sat on his laurels rolling in his jizz still thinking it's 2012. It stinks of arrogance.

A sweep will open his Guido eyes (I can say that - Mrs. Puck is from Sicily) and he will make this team legitimate again. It's needs a retool, not a rebuild.
