So your saying Jones would have given up 9 or 10? I find that hard to believe. When your goalie is getting lit up and your team is playing like shit you need to shake it up. Leaving Quick in does nothing at all except keep them from loosing 10-0 apparetly

Not what I said at all. I'm saying Quick made 4 or 5 saves that could have been sure goals. Yeah he gave up a couple he most likely would like a do-over on but if you're blaming that 3-0 first period lead or the 5-0 lead after 2 periods on Quick I think you're mistaken. In my estimation it was a complete team failure.

Horrendous game, the Kings were simply not ready to play. Can't do anything now, those starts are the key obviously.

I expect a completely different game Sunday and more of a Kings hockey game being played.

Ox, you pull the goalie for many reasons. When its 5-0 is a more then adequate time to do so. It doesn't matter if all 5 goals are "acts of god" you pull the goalie. Pulling him sends a message not only to him (Quick) but the rest of the team that you let him down.

This Kings' team has not been right all year long.... streaky, yet often unable to beat top tier teams in the second half of the season. We might go down in 4.

I think you misunderstand what I was saying. I didn't mean to imply I thought it was wrong to pull Quick. I completely agree it's always a good idea. Shoot I wouldn't even have been upset had Sutter put Jones in at the start of the 2nd period. That would have sent a big message.

I started working to condense everything into just one large image, but then my program crashed about halfway through it and I got really mad and swore a lot and I'm not gonna make any changes to the GDT for game 2.
