*Just a note, because I'm not in California, I'm not 100% positive if the game is on FS-W or Prime Ticket, nhl.com says Prime so that's what I'm going with, if wrong please correct me.

**Sutter went with 7 defenseman in game 2 so these lineups are of course subject to change.

Hard to stay positive when the Kings have given up 12 goals in 5 periods (13 goals in two games). Any early exit is probably in order for the Kings as they need the collective rest. Going deep into the NHL playoffs year in and year out is grueling on the body. Sharks are fresher, sharper, tougher and hungrier as I just do not think the Kings have the answer or really the desire to find an answer. I mean, should Richards even be on the ice? Talk about going through the motions.

I would like to see some heart from the Kings. They pretty much just took it for 5 of 6 periods and it felt like Kelly Chase always says on NHL Network, "It's hard to eat when your belly it full". Kings just looked like they had nothing to prove, unlike San Jose, who have that chip on their shoulder.

But.. you're never in trouble until you lose a game at home. So, we'll see if the guns show up and match/outmatch the Sharks intensity. Every year for a decade it felt like the Sharks could have won it, but they collapsed every year.

Looking at payroll alone, the guys who get paid the big bucks need to get it done. Kopitar/Richards/Carter/Doughty/Voynov/Quick. Add Brown to that list as the Captain with a big bump coming next year.

Doughty/Carter must have blown their wad playing for the Canadian national team.... I have not seen much from them of late.

You can't expect to outscore a team 7-6 or 8-7 in the playoffs. The D is slow and the Sharks are exploiting it. Regher, Greene and Mitchell have been exploited by the speed of San Jose.

Brown up to $5.875 million next year, forgot about that. Shit!

Agree, wished we never signed him to that deal and just traded him. The so called captain isn't even on the top 6 with our current forwards. He hasn't shown any real heart this season nor in the playoffs. The Sharks are taking runs at Quick and yet he has stood back and let it happen. He should drop the gloves and show some intensity and heart, act like he cares about the team. Set an example

Richards looks like a shell of his former self, not sure what's wrong but I still feel he hasn't been the same since he took that hit to the head in the Chicago series last year.

Greene didn't even play in game 1, I don't know why you left Voynov off that list he has been pretty dreadful IMO.

The entire team has been timid, like they are afraid to make a big hit or even "play the man". They almost seem to be second guessing what they are supposed to do and that is very uncharacteristic

Kings recall Fraser? They must be desperate for someone that can stir it up
