I think it's Fox News. "Fair and Balanced." They always end each segment with a joke. It's always the same joke. But folks keep coming back for more.

Then evidently it isn't a joke. Could it be because some people are tired of being led around by the nose by the MSM and other cable outlets? I doubt if you would know...

Seeing as how no one has mentioned them yet, I'll add I love Lucy.

Pre everything already mentioned, but there are some really funny Lucy episodes. While the laugh soundtrack can be annoying, her facial expressions and physical comedy are epic.

Get Smart is worthy of a small mention too.

Didn't read them all but did anyone mention any show on MSNBC?
They are hilarious!

I was just thinking what a great thread but what it really needs is an overtly politically partisan shot. :L

A lot of you have mentioned MASH. That is certainly up there. Anyone remember Barney Miller?

Barney Miller was great. I think MASH may be one of the most overrated of all time, though... at least after the first 2-3 years.

Watched All in the Family for the first time as an adult, a few days ago. It was funny as hell but I couldn't believe how overtly racist it was. Archie was calling black people coloreds and Mr Jefferson was calling white people honkys. (sp?) Was still a really entertaining show that I plan on watching whenever I get the chance.

Cant believe nobody has said the trailer park boys.....hands down the funniest shit on tv ever.....if u havent seen it just watch a few episodes....dont try watching the movies without seeing the show....every character has a special characteristic. .

Otherwise fred sanford was the shit.....hated lamont......he was always hating on fred messing up his game....then hed put his hands in his tight ass jackets pockets...all up by his chest...

Also love seinfeld....never watched it when it was on...started watching it about 10 yrs ago....it never gets old

Honeymooners is another good one...

As I stated in the beginning the first 3 years were awesome after that not so much...

My parents watched Mash, Barney Miller and Taxi. I was too young to actually give a fuck but I liked the midget in Taxi.

I have to wonder if All in the Family could even play today? Pretty racist by today's standards. It is quite hysterical. One of the great shows of all time.

Can't think of his name. Believe it or not he played Arnold Schwarze******'s twin in the movie "Twin."
