If this documentary showed anything it was exactly this. These guys didn't want to work for a win. They wanted to get paid to rest on their past accomplishments and "compete" in glorified exhibitions.

I get where they are coming from...that's a lot of money to say no to when all it asks is that you continue doing what you love at a less competitive level.

I don't see how the business model works with only 48 guys but they certainly got what they wanted in name recognition. I am rooting for them to succeed. Can't stand monopolistic giants like the PGA trying to crush all competition.,

Yes it will be. I've no beef with those guys for going for the gold. I'm just not interested.

As others have posted, I couldn't possibly care less about the politics of all this or who's making or losing money. But when I watch golf, it's to watch the best in the world compete against each other. I do watch some LPGA, but if I'm being honest .. my interest there maps pretty closely with how many in contention that week are nice looking women.

LIV is exhibition golf. If your friends are interested in watching exhibition golf, they'll have that option. You're kidding yourself if you think the LIV "tour" will ever be anything but a once in awhile curiosity for most golf fans.
