Due to it being @ Minny, I picked the Gophers in my Husker Pickem's. I have zero confidence in that though. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Weisman run all over them, and have Iowa's special teams make a big play.

I also have Nebraska losing at Minny.

Red Alert, that is defensive numbers..Minny's defense is only allowing a bit over 102 yards per game, their offense is indeed rushing for the number you quoted, the post started out I read their D is pretty good. Iowa's is even better at under 100, so one team better figure out how to stop the run, I give Iowa the edge cause we seem to have a passing game, Minny QB was 5 for 12 in passing last week I think it was.

Don't think we'll garner any votes. Most of the polls I saw last week had us around 55 to 60. Don't see a jump up too high as the same polls only had Minnesota around 45 to 50. Beat MSU next week and we could get a huge jump.

Iowa garnered 1 vote in the Coaches poll, none in the AP, oddly enough CBS rankings (1-126) has Iowa at 59 and Minnesota well ahead of us still...idiots. Northern Illinois is now ranked in the Coaches poll, which they should be, team is 2 defeats in 2 years, Iowa and Florida State.

I am not for Iowa to be ranked yet, I feel if we beat Mich State we are top 35, right now though I feel we are right about 45.
