I didn’t hate Saubert, I hated our entire offense. Same goes for Rypien. Even Russ looked like a CFL player last year.

Saubert was a minor bright spot on a dark hole team. More power to him. He now swims with the fishes.

Saubert fills a role. Nothing special but unlike Beck he made a little bit of an impact on special teams. He can also catch the ball and stretch the field a bit. We had to move on though. I liked him fine but not going to miss him either. Other then the fact that he is from the small school of Drake in IOWA!

This is a guy thought that if I am good at my top 2 TE's he is a solid 3/4th TE to fill a role as a depth TE and helpful special teams player. He could last in the NFL awhile because of this. (already has)

LOL- He is really good receiving TE. Dulcich is probably similar to him in terms of capability. Geisicki is like power forward in basketball. Post him up, run him across, great receiver, didn't really go so well with Tua but someone is going to get a good pass catching TE in him. If it wasn't for his blocking he could have easily been a rd 1 pick when he went out.
