Who gave away a SB? That is pure folly.
You WIN a SB. That's what happened. Sorry to crumble your passionate hopes of the past.

No, seattle lost that game. Plain and simple. At the 1st yard line against one of the worst short yardage run defenses and you throw the ball to like your 8th best skill position player?

EPIC FAIL.

Did you watch the game? There were 14-point swings. Sure there's a little luck for both teams, but it the end, best team on that day won. Ask Seattle fans most of which are fair in their commentary.

Seattle lost the game. Plain and simple.

This isn't really that hard.

Not to mention it was clearly DPI to begin with.

On a slant play the defender breaks early and runs over the receiver from behind before the ball gets there to get into position to make a play.

How is that not DPI?

Because it was not called?

You can keep on giving me the BS rating Q. How about answering some of the questions so we can have a normal conversation. Records will show that you rate BS as anything you don't agree with. Go for it, gimme another BS award.

What questions?

and I give BS ratings to idiotic responses that waste my time.

Butler got there early. From behind. That's called 99/100 with that one time being the exception.

Ok, it was close. Obvious DPI in real time, like what happened, was impossible to call for the refs. Butler made a fantastic play.

why is it impossible to call?

I mean yes we saw them incorrectly not call DPI 2 years before that with the SB on teh line (SF/Balt) but holding the whistle for such obvious violations is just wrong.

By holding the whistle they decided both games rather than correctly throwing the flag (on both occasions) and letting the teams decide the game.

Whistles blow both ways, maybe the Pats got a break this time. I know that secular thinking leads people to believe that the Pats get all these calls and shit in their favor. Over time, that has not been the case. It was very good to see one go our way after so much turmoil. Peace.

We're talking about milliseconds on a play like that.
TBH, it did look like DPI on first account. Upon replay, it is clear it was not. They both hit the ball at the same time. And one dude caught it.

No. He gets there early. That's why that shitty WR Lockett is already on the way down when Butler gets the ball.

It was a great D play. What Seattle decided to do is another story. I do not agree that it was the worst call of all time, but do agree with many that have said here that a play-option or something like that could have worked better.

The formation itself didn't' even allow for the thought of a potential rushing play.

Just ram it home for one yard and win the title. It really wasn't that hard of a decision.

I will agree that MAYBE another play for Hawks COULD have worked. It's all history man, peace, and long live the NFL.
