Ellington Injury Update

His injury has been diagnosed as a mild PCL sprain. Sounds like it is day-to-day when he returns. It could be this week or it could be in 3 weeks.

Hate to have him miss games, but I'd prefer he miss a game or two now and get fully healthy than play hurt and not be effective.

Yep. Let him heal if he is at all questionable. Let's take our chances with the Bears and re-evaluate from there.

A mild PCL sprain doesn't sound like a really good injury to pop back from. The longer he can be inactive and not hurt the team the better so that when he does come back he is healthy. They pulled Kerwynn Williams off the practice squad to give them some more options as well.

With Johnson and Johnson both playing well, they should be cautious with Ellington. No reason to rush him back.
