SportsHoopla's #1 Bucknut
Suh anybody? He's been mentioned in the past and maybe now would be the time? That would be a great dline if he came to Philly. I'm curious how Howie plays FA. Should get exciting.
Looks like the 2019 Cap hit for Brandon Graham is not yet available ... but all the other monies and cap amounts (including Johnson and Kelce) are set. Right now (without factoring Graham's cap # for 19') we stand at 22.8 under the cap. Nelson Agholor will either be traded, extended or released in the next few days, so that will open up more space ...
Not to mention Peters option ( not sure when that has to be exercised by). Also intrigued by the Bennett trade rumors. It’s a toss up to me at this point if it’s better to have him or have $7.5 M cap back.
Guess it depends on what they ultimately want to do starting next week.
NFL free agency: Eagles need to target these 5 players with newfound cap space
I would be down with all five of these signings this offseason, especially Ingram and Brown. Shelton and Bynes are intriguing.
Bennett to Pats for 2020 fifth round pick, we send a 2020 seventh round in return. Not bad deal for us. Shed salary and exchange picks.
I'm ok with this deal only because it sheds salary, but more importantly, this draft is loaded with DL. We have I think eight picks and having Joe Douglas at the helm, we surely should get some impact players to fill the void.God I hate seeing reports that say an Eagle will be “traded or cut”. Ever since DeSean I’ve felt the tide has changed from teams willing to give up draft capital for getting the player to teams being more willing to make their best case after the player is released and take their chances in order to hold onto draft capital.
It’s becoming more rare for teams to offer picks to get a player they are sure will be cut. But if one does I would be fine with getting the 5 back, even at cost of a later pick if need be.
Seeing it reported elsewhere as $10 mil per, not $10 mil total.

JP just signed one year $10M. Curious what it does to cap number. But it sounds like, at worst, it will create about 1/2M in cap savings, maybe.....I don't know.
Did they just rip up the old contract? A little unsure as I'm at work and can't look too much ... lol
Sounds like a restructured contract, 1 year max value of $10M w/ $5.5M guaranteed for 2019. Howie strikes again!
Jason Peters, Eagles agree to 1-year contract for 2019 season
