I am surprised about hester... but happy he got in, i like when the GOATs get in before others, even if the GOAT is at a position that is not seen to be good...

For example, i hope Tucker gets in at first eligibility...

Steve McMichael going in is about as silly as it gets.

I know he is sick and all. But most players are going to be sick at some point. They just dont get in when that happens.

And McMichael isnt even a fringe candidate. Literally only 3 pro bowl appearances.

I watched Mongo play, and he had a great career and loved him as a player......he was a character and all on a team full of characters....

But hete to say you are right.........and it pains me to say that.

Happy for Steve McMichael and his family. I'm afraid he won't be with us much longer.
I googled him last nigjt, the newest of pics of him,he is frail as frail could be.....Its sad to see a human being shrivel to nothing........

He probably wont see his induction.......

An fyi for anyone interested,Sunday morning at 9 am on NFL Countdown, they are having a segment on him.........
It maybe a tear jerker......I know it probably will be for me.

Not sure if serious... the announcers routinely said it in Chargers games. Given you were stuck watching two a year (one being always in San Diego) I'm shocked you never heard that. It gained even more attention when Lebron mentioned playing NFL.
I was playing in to what Beaker said

I agree Gates should be on here.

But both Johnson and Hester had long successful careers.

You look at KR/PR records. Who is in the top 5 in yards and TDS?

Now take a look at LC Greenwood……has to be in top 5 snubs of all time…..

How is Patrick Willis in the Hall of Fame when Seth Joyner is not?

Eric Allen also shut out last night. Those great Buddy Ryan Eagles defenses are only represented in the Hall by Reggie White. Doesn’t seem right.

Glorified returnnan gets in faster than a great WR

View attachment 353975

THats not how you GOAT.......

Wrs are a dimr a dozen, but theres only one goat returner and theres no one closer.....
Devin owns 6 records.
Only one to take the begining kickoff to the house.
KIckers kicked out of bounds to let the Bears start at the 40 rather than have him return it.......
No one did it better......

Steve McMichael got in for his work in wrestling

He was the goat rattlesnake wrestler......

Just not a good wrestler,Jimbo Covert showed Mongo a thing or two during practice......Jimbo just never told him he was a State Chsmp wrestler in highschool......

He did? Why is this the first time I’m hearing about this?

Not even a good team. Kent State after a myriad of changes in college and never played football in college.

Obviously undrafted, he was a big agile body that was worthwhile.
