I still have no idea who it is. It's killing me. I'm pretty sure I got Dave Hollins. It will hit me eventually. I thought I guessed Gregg Jefferies but maybe it was him and I spelled his name wrong so it didn't count it?

Hint: Eric Bruntlett.

Rickey Jordan? I had no idea he played in that many games. I remember Kruk as the first baseman because he played first on the 93 team so I'm guessing he played outfield more than I thought if Jordan got into that many games.

Is that one of those fake hints to throw me off the track?

No. Whenever McCarthy brings up Bruntlett's unassisted triple play, Wheels blows his load telling some story about a Phillies 2b/ss who could have had an unassisted triple play but elected to throw the ball to Jordan at first base. I don't remember the 2b/ss.

Here's the vid. The second baseman was Randy Ready. I'm pretty sure in the ****hub search bar Wheels types in "Ricky Jordan"

i think ricky only really played 1 full season. but he did have a bunch of years working those spot-starts at 1st, especially before kruk arrived.

on a side note, i was at that triple play game with my friend and his dad. 7th grade if i remember correctly. i got a tony gwynn autograph (and still have it) that morning. he was a super nice guy who had everyone line up like school kids while he signed for quite some time. always said "you're welcome" and smiled. reminds me a lot of dale murphy, who used to come in suits and take smiling pictures with people.

Yeah, I hate Gwynn but him and Dale Murphy do sound like two of the nicer guys to have been around the game. Probably the nicest I can think of is Mike Sweeney. It's hard to think of nice people when there are so many assholes that play the game.
