He will never wear a Giants uni again (unless it is Oct 31, and he is walking around the neighborhood with a pillow case in his hand).

He burned every bridge in the org last year (reportedly).

Nah, waaaaay too many decent/good/great prospects in the system. We don't need him. Verdugo, I'd take him back.

He will always be the guy who threw only the second no-no I'd ever seen in person. And, he has a ring, so all of our complaints are irrelevant.

All things considered, maybe the most valuable Giant of this generation.

Sanchez said that he felt the organization didn't believe in him anymore, and that ticked off the front office. He also had some disagreements with the coaching staff I believe, about how to handle himself and about fixing his problems.

There were also reports that the org felt he had completely given up. He would show up late to meetings and workouts, and not put in the hours for prepping for his starts (both study and physical).

This was why it was expected that they would non-tender him if they were unable to find a sucker... um, I mean, trading partner for him.

FWIW, in his ML debut, Ryan Verdugo pitched 1.2 innings giving up 6 runs........ against the Mariners

....also FWIW, the Mariners actually have the most road runs in MLB, but the least runs at home.

I don't know if the stats show this but I've always felt Safeco was the pitcheriest park in baseball, more than PacBell for sure (yes I still call it that), and maybe even more than Petco.

The Mariner hitters probably can't wait for roadies.

Yeah, Petco, Safeco and our park are defiantly the best pitchers parks in MLB, but it's just surprising to a Mariners offense that was historically bad (last year? or in 2010) actually lead in an offensive category.

I don't necessarily disagree, but take a look at park adjustment factors for 2012....AT&T is off the charts.

Kind of funny that the two guys TitoMac loved sooooo much (Velez and Durty) are now not playing in MLB.....and of the two guys he hated, one has turned into a top 20 pitcher in the league and the other is a 4th OF (but at least still hanging in the bigs).

Funny, and inevitable (that he'd be wrong). Also, the GM he knew so much more than won a championship.

Ishi hasn't become a 20+HR hitting starting 1st baseman, and Uggla is batting about .230. Still, Cazic's predictions about both guys look pretty good compared to Tito's. (which is funny) :becky:
