I'd guess no team in Devils history ever scored 6 goals in each of the first 2 games of a season.

THANK EFFING GOD. Cory would go a month at a time last season and not get 9 total goals in support.

This is fun to watch.

Not only that, BUT, my favorite part is these two games have been great for the young d. Game one you could tell there were jitters and they were rusty. Tonight they're flying. Confidence is going to be through the roof for all three of them. And we got a little adversity against Philly. Nice early wake up call, still got two points in regulation. Hope they keep up the solid play.

3rd period got a little sloppy but I'll take a 5-1 win anytime. and 2 wins in 2 is a little nicer than an 0-4-3 start!

I had a feeling the Devils would be good this year. IDK I just liked their roster. Never expected them to have this much offense tho. Props guys

Not much to complain about after 2 games. I do wonder if PDB rolls with the same lineup in Tampa again though.

I'd guess Brunner and/or JJ are going to crack the lineup eventually.

Either way solid solid game tonight. Cory bounced back nicely but didnt have to be too spectacular to win this one. Nice to see 5 goals in a game when our top line was pretty silent for the most part.

If this team stays healthy we're gonna be good.

Hmm. 9 minor penalties tonight. Not good. 5 of them were from the Roo2, 22, and Gionta. Need more discipline.
