Key to 49ers victory tonight:

• Pass protection. 49ers struggled in preseason with protection on passing plays. If they can give Kaep enough time for the plays to develop we could see some big plays to Torrey Smith.

• Containing AP. This game is gonna be won in the trenches. 49ers D-Line has to win vs Vikes O-Line. Bowman will also play a huge role in stopping AP.

• Carlos Hyde. One of the bright spots from preseason was Hyde and the 49ers run blocking. Hyde will have to have a good night to open up the passing game and keep the 49ers from being one dimensional.

• Blitzing Bridgewater. 49ers will have to get pressure on Teddy and not give him all day in the pocket. By making Teddy make a quick decision it could maybe lead to a bad pass and a turnover. Also they have to keep Teddy in the pocket and not let him get outside and have a chance to scramble for a big play.

• Not giving up big plays. 49ers DBs will have to keep everything in front of them and not let Wallace or Johnson get by them for a huge play.

I expect to see a lot more AP in the 2nd half but I'm happy the 49ers are leading right now. I feel the 49ers should be up double digits but a blocked FG and Hayne fumbling the punt cost the 49ers points.
