Yep! pave that bitch. haven't we seen that it can save guys from hitting those interior walls like a ton of bricks already. You could save a small patch up front in the tri oval if wanted, but the rest could be asphalt. This isn't a golf course.

They'll never pave the tri-oval, there is no real safety argument for it.

They paved all that area before the pits because it was really really bad before then, but I don't see them ever paving the tri.

I'd like to see it happen because I hate seeing the grass tear up cars like that.
