If this is it, I would love to see him sign a one-day contract to retire with the Flyers and then be able to work in the front office - he absolutely deserves it - he has to be one of the most clutch players this team has ever had(Keith Primeau was pretty good too) and he was responsible for a lot of the success this team had in his first five seasons with the team

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't he still live in the Philly area during the offseason? I thought his kids are still in the same school district? Anyway, I agree he will be back and working somewhere in the Flyers organization.

With Hextall in the GM spot, the chances are good Briere, if he retires, will end up in the Flyer's FO at some juncture.
