Daniel Hudson could return in September

According to Gibby... I really hope Huddy can make a full recovery. Sucks to see such a promising career get derailed like that. I'm really rooting for him.

He has had 2 or 3 appearances in the AZRL. Just an inning at a time. He should be going to Reno soon. What I read is that he is coming back as a reliever in September & they would like to get him in 5 or 6 games. Where he is after that depends on his performance & arm strength moving into 2015.

I feel like his days as a starter are long gone... I could see him as a reliever that can go 2-3 innings deep once he builds up a little more arm strength, but I wouldn't want to make him a starter until he at least stretched his arm out for a year in the pen and gradually built up arm strength/stamina.

We have such a deep rotation filled with studs that we can afford him being sent to the pen.
