Cuts being made

Honestly some somewhat surprising final cuts. Can never say the Broncos are boring.

The final 4 cuts were

Britton Colquitt
Bralon Addison
Kyle Roberts
And Garrett Graham is going to the IR.

Man I bet the Chiefs wish we would trade with them. Seems like their linebacker core if falling like flies. Houston has been put on the PUP so going to miss at least 6 weeks. Josh Mauga one of their starting ILB's is out for the season. Hali is still slowly coming along. So 3 of the 4 starters struggling or out with injury and the 4th one is 34 years old.

The Bralon Addison era is over.

Hopefully he latches on elsewhere. Glad he got a shot here. Just not enough to impress to get a longer look at him on the PS. Looks like Raymond and possibly Frasier to the PS.

Maybe Addison would benefit from heading to the CFL for a year and dominating up there then getting that 2nd look.

Yeah, just not sure Addison is the type of player the CFL looks for due to his lack of straight line speed. CFL has such an odd interest in players, and they are generally very speedy.

I think he ends up on some other teams PS at some point of the season. May even bounce around between a few like a Nate Palmer. Hopefully he finds his way onto a team and develops but his opportunties aren't over with the NFL IMO.

My boy Jordan Lomax was cut by the Rams. Knew it was gonna happen but was hoping 2nd wave for a chance at the PS.

I like both of those signings Scott. Lowers the QB market making it maybe a bit easier to get Sanchez traded and Kruger going to the Saints means he is kept away from the Chiefs who are in desperate need for an OLB with any kind of quality production.

Agree Kruger seems to be a guy who can really max out with good players around him something he didn't have in Cleveland but did in Baltimore. Didn't want him on KC.

I figured when I saw he was released that the Chiefs would be one of the first calls to him. Thankfully he went to the Saints first and sounds like they didn't let him leave without a contract. Honestly unless something crazy changes for the Chiefs I don't think they will have a top-10 defense this year. Good chance Houston misses a good chunk of the season and they just don't look the same in the secondary without Smith this season.

Yeah they had to deal for 49ers CB Kenneth Acker the other day. Decent CB but wasn't gonna get much PT with the 9ers, now he has a chance to start for KC. KC also drafted 3 CB's this year, and EJ Gaines from the year before. It looks like they are going to have to go process by fire at the CB positions this year. Some young talent there but not ready to start.

Then you have Eric Berry who will have a good year, but he may be gone after this year after being upset and signing his tender.
