What a nightmare start to the game that was

End of the bottom of the first inning and the Creighton players sprinted out of the outfield back to their dug-out.
At the end of the top of the first the Nebraska players trotted. No hustle.

I tell you what, I might be the only one who thinks this, but I swear sometimes Anderson just cannot get this team motivated to play. Back in 2006 I had a friend who pitched for Nebraska so I got free tickets to sit right above the dugout every home game. I just didn't enjoy his style of coaching.....there was no fire.....too laid back. They would make errors and he would just clap his hands together and say "gol dangit." But he never did anything about it. I know hanging around the baseball players that year they talked quite frequently about how they would like a new coach.....that is never a good sign.

BTW, I'm not saying that Anderson needs to go.....I know some people would freak out at the thought of that. I think the guy is very smart and can recruit, but he has motivational issues as far as I'm concerned.

NU is on a fast pace back to pre Van Horn days. Out of Van Horn, Childress and Anderson..NU got the short end of the stick.

It may just be one of those days where everything's clicking for Creighton......but to me it seems like we have TOO many of "those days" throughout the season

I agree though Red, what's with this walking on and off the field crap. Back when I played if we didn't sprint out on to the field and off the field we were ripped out. It's just one of those things that gives the team kind of an attitude.
