Game Thread: Colorado St. @ Boise St.

Late night tip off, but a game worth staying up to midnight for.

Best game I've seen in the Pavilion (OK, Taco Bell Arena) in a long time. CSU was up by 12 late, BSU up by 10 early, it came down to crunch time at the end, as they traded 3 pointers.

Derrick Marks just couldn't be stopped, oh, and Larry Eustachy just couldn't keep his mouth shut.

Thoughts? Anyone there or catch it on ESPN?

I enjoyed it. It was a really nice comeback by the Broncos. Is it just me or did everything CSU put up seem to hit every part of the rim and then go down? I'm talking free throws, jumpers, threes - everything. Those boys can straight up shoot and the rims were extremely forgiving. It was driving me crazy.

I've been hard on Iggy over the years, but he's really stepped up his game this season. He was creating and making things happen out there. Webb has really added some nice long range shooting, length, quickness, and athleticism. He's so fun to watch, clearly our second best player. And Marks. Where to begin? He's just amazing. I'm really going to miss him. Our go to guy. Mr. Clutch. Instant offense. Just a tremendous scorer and overall ball player. He's put this team on his shoulders and literally carried them.

Webb is still young and incomplete as a player. He was out of position against a crafty CSU team who did a great job getting offensive rebounds. But he is an athlete, that's for certain. He will only get better.

Did not get to see the game, but from what I read in the paper, I missed the game of the year. Looks like they are really coming together. We need to win at USU next, we have never won at there house.

Missed the game but heard it was a good one. That's 6 in a row for the Broncos. They seem to be climbing back up in the conference standings.
Maybe there is still hope for a shot at the big dance.

What an excellent run this team is on right now

tonight is the big game

need to win this one to be in true contention for an at-large bid

we're playing great right now but still have some work to do because of our early season struggles.

Rice really pulled this team together this year

the loss to Loyola-Illinois is a real killer

they were playing decent at the time we played them, but they're 3-8 in their last 11 games

which is just killing us
