Good for him. He has no reason to take back any of the comments he made. With the team meeting out of the way, let's see if anything changes. My bet is that we'll see a rejuvenated Sharks team...for about 2 weeks.
The sadder thing is not one of the big 3 are stepping him to back his statement. It's business as usual. Thats the one thing i hate about players who are drafted and make the jump right away, they have no perspective on what it's like to earn their ways in to the league like Clowe and Boyle.
Is it any conicdence that both Boyle and Clowe had to take the long way to the NHL and are the only 2 that are showing their displeasure. And to a lesser extent which i like Couture is speaking up as well
This team has lacked true leadership in the post-lockout years. One of the incidents that still makes me angry was when Torres took out Michalek in the 2006 playoffs. No one went after that worthless pile of human garbage, looking to smash his face and put him in the hospital, which is what should’ve happened to him. No one on the team was willing to take charge in that situation, instead becoming passive and letting the Edmonton scumbags take control of the series.
