Hmm, maybe they took a look at the work Cory has done so far and decided they don't want to play him 75 games this year? TG speculating Kinkaid will be the guy brought up.

Bernier also being brought up to replace Boucher.

Devils had no back to back games until now.

I guess they thought Kinkaid was better and was only in the AHL to get some games in and not get rusty.

He's still going to get rusty sitting 10 games at a time. Resign Marty already the pr would be good and just start him at home games for a farewell tour. Maybe get some butts in the seats

Clemmer is being a good soldier. He obviously could have been totally out of hockey this season. There's still a handful of starter caliber goalies available that are better than him. When Kinkaid was sent down everyone was hinting that it was because the Devils wouldn't have a backup start until after the first month. Kinkaid has been fantastic in Albany, and eventually we'll need to get some good games out of him.
