Claude Giroux Snubbed From Team Canada

Unbelievable - it irks me - and we can talk about how he'll be fresh for the run late in the season and all that, but he deserves to be on the team and it's unbelievable some of the guys they took over it

I would think his terrible start and then being one of the hottest players in the league coming into the selection process wouldve helped him make the team

Stop thinking so logically. Logic and Team Canada should rarely be used in the same sentence. Clearly size was the priority, which makes perfect sense on the larger international ice.

I'm not crushed, Giroux has nothing left to prove to me. I'd take him over anyone on Team Canada not named Crosby and Stamkos.

Let him have his two weeks rest and hope this light a fire under his ass (As if he isn't killing it as is)

WTF, how does Marleau, Duchesne, and Kunitz also make it over Giroux. I thought before Canada wasn't gonna win, now with Hamhuis and Vlasic on D too, fuck what a downer with some of these selections.

Americans left off Yandle and Ryan so there just as stupid as Canada is, and these 2 teams will not win, added the bigger ice......

I aslo think that Giroux not showing up for the camp in August/Sept played a huge role why he is not on the team. They just wanted him there even though he was hurt. Nash made the team by rep, and Hamhuis and Carter because of loyalty of the past, wtf though

i really don't think russia is any good.. tons of talent up front, but they dont play defense and we've seen what bobrovsky does when people don't play defense in front of him
