Good heavens......it honestly shouldn't take this long to figure things out. 4 minutes worth of BS, to now go spend 3/4 more minutes looking at replay, when the call on the field was a K to begin with. Nonsense

sometimes it's irritating, but this allowed the relief to warm up, and we got the call.

I won't pretend that I'm totally understanding all the nuances of the replay rule. But in this case, the on-the-field ruling was a check swing strike, which is not reviewable. Yet they spent 4 minutes chatting with Ventura, then go to the review.

It's new, and I do understand there's a learning curve for all concerned though.
