This is a good idea. No reason that we have to finish the season on time, since we didn't start on time. Let's at least play the games that were scheduled as a short term solution to the virus.

Not the PAC's fault that the Western states were hit later than the rest of the country and were under stricter guidelines than the rest of the country.

If not for some USC players writing a letter to the Governor of California, the PAC still may not be playing.

It is, however, the PAC's fault that they chose to initially cancel the season rather than postpone it which also helped to delay the restart.

I'm kind of on the fence about it. It wasn't the players decision to do things this way. They can only play the games their conference allows. So, it's not fair to them.

On the other hand, it's also not fair to the players on the teams that have played more games.

The CFP committee is hoping and praying that nobody goes undefeated in the PAC 12. That will make their decisions a lot easier

The CFP management committee met this evening and committed to keeping the playoff as scheduled. They also decided if a semifinalist is unable to play because of a COVID-19 disruption after Selection Day on Dec. 20, the selection committee would not choose a replacement team.
