Calvin Johnson trade value

Everyone in my league seems to be interested in Calvin. My team is pretty strong across the board, but I could use a better QB and TE. I have an offer I'm kind of thinking over of Calvin and luck/gonzo for drew brees and Julius Thomas. I think Calvin is worth around that, but I'm not sure if I want to give him up. I have d. Thomas and mike Wallace who would become my new 1 and 2 receivers. Anyone have any advice they would like to put forth?

I think you're nutso... Luck will be more than fine, and Julius isn't gonna score every week.

...and Wallace is a huge drop off from Calvin when it comes to consistency.... and talent.

If you had someone a step up from Wallace to slide into #2 I'd say go for it. But I think the step up from Luck to Brees will be negated by the step down from Calvin to Wallace. And Thomas isn't any better than Gonzo.. not a stretch to expect a handful of multiple score weeks from Gonzo too.

I think Thomas is better than Gonzo and Brees is a lot better than Luck. The Colts will not throw the ball enough to make Luck the elite option he is capable of being.

That said, you should be able to get a lot more for that package, because the TE upgrade is pretty minor. You would need a WR on the level of Garcon along with those two players to make this right. Megatron is the best player in this deal by far, and Luck's numbers have been good enough that you can make a case for him as a top 6 QB, even though I think he will fall off.
