I think the league has a rule that any time Brown gets a call he also get a dive against him. They only say the "3" on Cliffy and thought it was 23 and called the dive

To be fair to him, it seems like the Kings were pretty lackadasical coming over there to try and help him out and get the puck - maybe he didn't think they were coming fast enough and he had to get over there

Funny you mention that, I was thinking the exact same thing when they called it. Brown is known as a diver, Fox mentioned he has a "reputation" in a telecast the last two weeks or so, and I honestly think the ref saw the 3 and thought it was Brown.

Clifford is not a diver like Brown and works through checks constantly. To see him called for an embellishment was disgusting, he's the last player I would expect to do that. The officiating in general was very poor tonight for both teams.

My biggest beef tonight besides the sleepwalking was the lack of response to O'Brien and Smid. They board two guys and the Kings do nothing. I think if someone would have confronted them, it might have woken this team up.

First time taking Pucky Jr. I to a game with just pops and it was a disgrace. Good job Kings.

I've believed all along the Kings are going to end up making a move for a defenseman later this season and Jake Muzzin might be one of the guys going in a trade

The only good thing about last night's game was meeting up with Puck and Puck Jr. It had been a long time since we met up at a game. The Kings once again played down to their competition and ended up giving away the game. I fully expect them to play much better against St Louis tomorrow. They sure had better or they'll get run off the ice.
