I just think the Pens need to realize where they are & start rebuilding. No shame in rebuilding & 2014-15 is a good year to start the rebuilding process with the draft being as deep as it is.

So with your "rebuilding" desire, would you like to see them move some of those monster contracts? If so, who and for what?

Letang & Scuderi for sure. Those guys have awful contracts. Doubt we can move them tho. Maybe move James Neal for some pieces? I think he's our most tradable asset.

That's what I figured. However, with Crosby and Malkin still on the team, they will be a middle of the pack team regardless. Tough to do a legit rebuild drafting in the teens...

True but we had them this year and that didn't stop us from having a post Olympic meltdown. We might not get McDavid but I think we could be a lottery team next season.
