Toknight, is start of the a new competitive softball season. I wanted to start off the season with a bang especially after a controversial rainout in the top of the 4th eliminated us from the playoffs.
So of course I went to Taco Bell to UCFuel up.
I swear I heard an angel's harp being played as I came into view of the menu from around the drivethru. There it was my UCFriends. The long awaited Buffalo Chicken Nacho Fries Burrito at my very own Taco Bell.
After ordering 3, I raced home to delight in this glory. The pungent smell was palpable encouraging me to lay the gas down. I made the .79 of a mile trek home in about 4.3 minutes, flat.
The UCFirst bite was a gusher of a creamy mixture between sour cream, buffalo sauce, nachos cheese sauce and cheese. Like an oar while white water rafting, my teeth had to cut through the great waves of sauce to catch traction on the hearty chucks of chicken and the UCFamous Nachos Fries which we all know and love.
From that first bite, I learned something. This delight was designed by the divine to be cherished and savored. Not ravaged like a crazed hyped Bell junkie. So I slowed the experience down. To really think about of the complexity of this marvel. That's when the Pico hit me!
See I know what you were thinking. How can 2 of the greatest American UCFood innovations of all time, Buffalo Chicken and fries, be authentic Mexican. Well, The Bell accomplishment that magical feat by wrapping this synergy of awesomeness in a warm flour tortilla and by sprinkling in some fresh Pico de Gallo.
I'm going to take a nap now after that pre-game feast. Just so I can dream about what I just experienced.
