Dunno but seeing Bruce hit to left this often is something odd ... in the past, when he's gotten into a hot streak, it was just blasts to the bleachers.

BTW, did anybody see Votto do the bunt on the shift the other night?

Yep. Loved it. Unfortunately, Votto might have slammed that pitch into the LC bleachers too. Bruce is the guy that needs to focus on bunting against the shift, if he can't hit harder oppage .

I've watched Bruce about every televised away game, and damned near every home game since he came up. The dude is ADD or OCD or both. Even in the OF he is Mr.Fidget. He's constantly twitching and stretching, convulsing his back and shoulders. He has the focus of a gnat. I always have hopes Bruce can hit better, smarter, etc...too, but...he always falls back into that random guessing, swingaholic with his head no where near his hands, much less his lower body, whiffing at fastballs that are really breakingballs half a foot from the plane of his bat.
