steroids,,,I really don't get the problem the only ones they are hurting is themselfs

Transdermally applied steroids are not harmful. Not in the amounts and methodologies used by elite athletes. That said, make sure you're all the way through puberty before trying them.

No.....but you can use it to keep me out of the HOF.

Always wondered how you still managed to rack up so much Rep Power in your 20s (months posting on this board, not age).

Seemed real to me.

But maybe 'real' for the wrong reasons? Like, he gets emotional about something else to create the tears?

Or maybe he had a little "help" in producing those tears? A little onion juice liberally applied might do the trick.

MLB Network is off their rocker. Essentially saying that with this Clemen's verdict, baseball can now move on from the steroid era. They must have forgotten that the reigning NL MVP was popped for juicing last year, and a "scrub" reliever is currently serving a 100 game suspension.

This all brought back those terrible memories associated with the last few years of Bonds' career. As a fan (Giant fan) I hated that time. Seems all I ever read were troll remarks after troll remarks. Never wanted to get dragged into the mess but it was so hard not to respond to the troll base. I can still remember the NY papers calling for his removal from anything related to baseball history. The HOF was the least of their rants. This went on till AROD got caught up in it as well. Of course he was a gentleman about it. In his case it was all circumstances. Bonds should have been burned at the stake and AROD should have been handed an olive branch because it was just difficult for him. Never much cared for NYY fans and this just deepened that feeling. Just seemed that the steroid circus drained the life out of the everyday enjoyment of the game. As a Giant fan it was non-stop trolling on our boards. I don't believe that the Clemens situation had the same overall effect. It may upset some Boston fans but I don't belive it affects their everyday enjoyment of the game or destroyed their fan boards.

Another player busted:

Philadelphia Phillies rookie infielder Freddy Galvis has been suspended 50 games by Major League Baseball for using a banned substance.

Galvis is currently on the disabled list with a back injury and will begin serving his suspension immediately. MLB says Galvis tested positive for a metabolite of Clostebol, a performance-enhancing substance. Galvis says a "trace amount" of the substance was found in his urine and he can't understand how it got there.

He was batting .226 with three homers, 15 doubles and 24 RBIs.
