Brady Not At Practice

WEEI Reported this afternoon that Tom Brady did not participate in the team practice. He was at Gillette Stadium but no reason was given for his absence. Word was leaked that he clothes and other items were in his locker. The team is supposed to fly to Miami tonight, a day earlier than normal.

The big question is WHY? Is he hurt? Is there a problem??

Need to know what's happening before the rumors start flying......

Just from WEEI ......Tom Brady missed practice today due to a calf injury. He spent the entire practice in the training room getting treatment for a reported calf injury. The Patriot Injury Report to the NFL lists Brady as injured ......Calf.

This honestly makes a lot of sense for the Patriots to do. How much more is Brady really going to improve on the field in practice? Where he and guys like Brees and Manning win games is on the mental side and knowing where the weaknesses to attack are. Game film to me is the better place for them to spend every once in a while. Plus throw in the grind of a full season is pretty ridiculous. Taking a day off here and there from the field probably is pretty smart to keep the body in tip top shape towards the end of the year.
