I thought they might but the 4th game did not go well for either. They will both be good signings on the practice squad if they sign.....

He belongs on the practice squad. He did not show enough to gain a spot on the roster. He is very useful (as the speedy receiver to cover) in practice. Maybe he will develop?

I don't see why he would do that? I mean come on dude... There is still a chance you could play for the Patriots on the Practice squad as I don't expect DA or Edelman to be healthy for the full season.

The biggest name on the Patriots practice squad is wide receiver Josh Boyce. It was a surprise to see the 2013 fourth-round pick clear waivers, but he was an asset on the scout team last year and should be again this season.

The Patriots’ 10-man practice squad is as follows: Wide receiver Josh Boyce, special teamer Kanorris Davis, defensive end Jake Bequette, linebacker Deontae Skinner, long snapper Charley Hughlett, offensive lineman Chris Martin, cornerback Dax Swanson, running back Jonas Gray, linebacker Ja’Gared Davis and quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson.

Boyce held back as well. must have had a change of heart, as reported by SDGuy73 yesterday, Boyce did sign on the practice squad.

Amendola could go down, or anybody else, and he's right back in the game.

It is not uncommon for players considered "more valuable" to negotiate more money. Some get as much as the league minimum for players on the 53 man roster.
