The Oklahoma career of sophomore wide receiver Trey Metoyer appears to be over after the former five-star recruit was reportedly charged with indecent exposure.
SoonerScoop.com and the Tulsa World each reported that Cleveland County District Court documents showed that Metoyer had been charged with two felony counts of indecent exposure stemming from two separate incidents. The charges carry a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.
Oklahoma issued a statement late Tuesday stating that Metoyer had been suspended indefinitely.
"Trey has not been with us since prior to the [Oct. 5] TCU game and at this time I do not anticipate that he will return to the team in the future," Bob Stoops said in a statement.
A probable cause affadavit obtained by SoonerScoop.com stated that Metoyer exposed himself to a female victim and performed a lewd act in a Norman parking lot Aug. 29. According to the affadavit, Metoyer then approached a second victim while she was walking her dog Sept. 17. After asking to borrow an ink pen, Metoyer allegedly exposed himself and repeated the lewd act when the woman came back out of her apartment with the pen.
The victim from the Sept. 17 incident would later identify Metoyer from a police lineup. SoonerScoop.com also reported that after initially denying the allegations, Metoyer "later admitted to each incident."
