I would've been comfortable if they left Hunter in there. Glad O'Day got the strikeout, though. If the Jays had scored any more those runs would've felt really cheap.
We traded Eric Bedard to the Mariners in 2008 for Adam Jones, Chris Tillman, George Sherrill, Kam Mickolio and Tony Butler. We later traded George Sherrill to the Dodgers for Steve Johnson and Josh Bell. So, years later, two players from that trade (directly and indirectly) contributed largely to the O's play today.
Howdy fellas!! I was supposed to be at the games today, but instead I decided to go to the dentist. Feels like I got beat in the jaw. I will, however, be at the final home game this Sunday to thank the boys for such a memorable season.
Hey, Taz Hokie. Pretty good game.. the O's made it seem effortless. Like a good team does! I know all about trips to the dentist. Haven't had any cavities in my life, but I had a root canal and a wisdom tooth extraction about a year ago on back-to-back days. Went pretty smoothly too.. I was surprised how easy the root canal went. But a couple of weeks before that the pain I was experiencing kept me up for 48 hours straight until the antibiotics kicked in. I would swish cold water in my mouth for about a minute and the pain would subside at one point.. before the pain came roaring back and I snapped back away. All the while water was dribbling out of my mouth, lol. Yeah, that was a rough two days.
Well, I gotta get cleaned up and do a couple of things. Perhaps I'll stop back later to see how the 2nd game goes. Good game O's! And glad to see your Nats handled Milwaukee pretty nicely today too hokiehi21.
Nate McLouth homers to make the score 4-3 Jays. Bases get juiced with Jones, Reynolds and Machado on, but Endy hits a dribbler down the first base line to end the inning.
What are those shirts the fans are wearing? "Thanks Buck"? Haven't gotten a good look at them yet as I just turned the game on.
